Scholarship Guidelines
Scholarship recipients are selected by the MBA Alumni Advisory Board at its April meeting. The scholarships are awarded at the annual MBA/MSIS Graduation Banquet the Friday before Spring Commencement. Scholarship amounts will be credited toward the recipients' next tuition obligation incurred at UW Oshkosh. MBA Alumni Scholarship
The purpose of the MBA Alumni Scholarship fund, established in November 2005, is to provide tuition support for UW Oshkosh College of Business MBA students based on financial need. This scholarship is the first of its kind established for UW Oshkosh MBA students. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded at the May 2009 MBA/MSIS Graduation Banquet. The funds are generated through support from UW Oshkosh MBA alumni and/or the businesses they work for.
All applicants must:
1. be students admitted to the MBA Program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh who are either part-time or full-time status and have completed at least six Degree (Level II) credits by January 23, 2009.
2. be in full standing with an overall graduate grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
3. provide their name, student ID, daytime telephone number, and email address along with a statement, no longer than 2 pages, which describes their financial need and why they believe they should be selected for this scholarship.
4. submit a simple statement of 2008 household earnings with their signature.
5. submit a current resume, no longer than 2 pages.
6. provide information about their company's educational reimbursement policy.

MBA/MSIS Project Management Scholarship
The purpose of the $300 Northeast Wisconsin Project Management Institute (NEW PMI) Scholarship, established in March 2006, is to provide tuition support for UW Oshkosh College of Business MSIS, or MBA students pursuing the Project Management Emphasis, based on financial need. The NEW PMI Scholarship will be awarded at the May 2009 MBA/MSIS Graduation Banquet. The funds are generated through support from the NEW PMI.
All applicants must:
1. be a student admitted to either MBA or MSIS Program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, either part-time or full-time, and who have completed BUS 758, Intro to Project Management, with a grade of B or higher. MBA students must be pursuing the Project Management Emphasis.
2. be in full standing with an overall graduate grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
3. provide their name, student ID, daytime telephone number, and email address along with a statement, no longer than 2 pages, which describes their financial need, why they believe they should be selected for this scholarship, and how they plan to apply Project Management in their chosen career.
4. submit a simple statement of 2008 household earnings with their signature.
