Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) and Graduate Honors

 

Beta Gamma Sigma is the national honor society for AACSB-accredited Schools/Colleges of Business. Election to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic honor that a graduate student in business can earn. Graduate students in the top twenty percent of their graduating class (including Summer 2008, Fall 2008 and Spring 2009) are eligible for membership. We will notify you in February if you are eligible for May induction.

In addition, Graduate Honors is an award given by UW Oshkosh to graduate students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement (generally a graduate GPA of 3.9 or higher), professional development, and community service. Graduate students in the top twenty percent of their graduating class (including Summer 2008, Fall 2008 and Spring 2009) are eligible for membership. We will notify you in February if you are eligible for April induction.

 

Students awarded BGS and/or Graduate Honors will be acknowledged at the annual Graduation Banquet held the night before spring semester commencement ceremonies on the UW Oshkosh campus.
