Getting Admitted - Special Student status
Registration Procedures for Special Students
If you are in the process of applying to the MBA, Global MBA or MSIS Program and would like to take some Level I (Foundation) courses prior to admission you can start with Special Student status. If you would an evaluation of undergraduate transcripts to determine which Foundation courses you will need to complete please make that request.
Read the Special Student Registration Procedures below, print and fill in both pages of the Special Student Application/Registration form (no application fee required) and mail/fax to:

Special Student Registration Procedures1. Print the 2-page Special Student Application/Registration Form. (.pdf format)
[Please Note: Special Students must maintain a graduate grade point average of 3.0]
2. Find current semester class offerings of Foundation courses by selecting the appropriate semester from the right side menu on this page. 3. Place the required course information at the bottom of the application/registration form (1st page - boxed area). 4. Make sure both pages of the registration form are completed and signed. Page 2 must be completed during your first registration only; subsequent registrations do not require the completion of page 2. 5. Mail, or fax, completed registration form along with undergraduate transcripts (photocopy is fine) that show your degree and the date it was awarded (if you previously have not provided a transcript). If your undergraduate degree was from UW Oshkosh, you do not need to supply a transcript. 6. Special Student registration forms will be processed after admitted students have registered. You will be sent an e-mail confirmation after your registration has been processed. 7. As a Special Student, you are required to submit a registration form to the MBA/MSIS Office each semester you plan to take a class.
