The College of Business MBA Program offers three graduate certificates: (No undergraduate course work will count toward the certificates.)

UW Oshkosh MBA Foundations of
Business Certificate
MBA Consortium Foundations of
Business Certificate
Kimberly-Clark Foundations of Business Certificate
Can be a mixture of onsite and online Foundation (Level I) courses. Open to all students with an undergraduate degree.
Primarily online Foundation (Level I) courses. Open to all students with an undergraduate degree.
Primarily onsite Foundation (Level I) courses offered at Kimberly-Clark, Neenah.
Only K-C employees are eligible for this certificate.

UW Oshkosh Certificate

This certificate program of both online and onsite business Foundation courses is available for students who need the skills and knowledge of basic business functions. Foundation courses are designed to provide management background for students with non-business undergraduate degrees, ranging from science and engineering to social sciences, the humanities, and various other non-business undergraduate majors.

To fulfill the requirements of the Certificate, a student completes 12 graduate Foundation (Level I) credits. The completion of an undergraduate degree in any area is the minimum requirement to be eligible to take these courses.

A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university.

MBA Consortium Certificate

Four nationally accredited (AACSB International) University of Wisconsin System business programs (UW Eau Claire, UW La Crosse, UW Oshkosh, and UW Parkside) jointly offer MBA foundation coursework via the Internet. This unique program of online business foundation courses is available as a certificate program for students who need the skills and knowledge of basic business functions. To fulfill the requirements of the Certificate Program, a student must complete 13 graduate credits as listed below. The completion of an undergraduate degree in any area is the minimum requirement to join the Certificate Program.

Minimum requirements to be accepted:

  1. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university.

Kimberly-Clark Certificate (K-C employees only)

Kimberly-Clark and the College of Business at UW Oshkosh have developed a certificate program consisting of MBA Foundation courses. This Certificate Program provides recognition for the completion of these courses. Courses taken within the Certificate Program can also be used to meet a professional development goal or as a stepping stone to the UW Oshkosh MBA or MSIS Programs. Only Kimberly-Clark employees are eligible for this Certificate.
